Punjab Worldbuilding
While researching for my own novels and stories set in Punjab, I hit a wall: I couldn’t find a single reliable place to reference authentic Punjabi worldbuilding elements. What they’d eat, what a bazaar would look like, and what customs, traditions, and hierarchies they lived by. Tiny details that make your world feel Punjabi without you having to spell it out. AI wasn’t much help either, because Punjab is not simple. It’s a land of layered cultures, civilizations, and nations, that didn’t just leave an imprint; they fused together into a unique identity of the Punjab we know today. Since I couldn’t find what I was looking for, I started building Punjab worldbuilding reference guides myself.
